Lee Yon Onn (Mr. Lee) is the driving force behind the inception and success of GrandPine Capital since 2003, charting the course for GrandPine Capital to be one of Malaysia’s leading providers of investment education.
Mr. Lee brings a rich background with over two decades of experience in investing, entrepreneurship and life coaching. In 2008, he also ventured into asset management business and investment education service in China, having founded Fortune One Asset Management Co. Ltd and served as Executive Director of Ruitian Capital.
At GrandPine Capital, Mr. Lee has coached and taught over 30,000 students in investing. He is also a best-selling author for investment books including ‘Make Money in Malaysia Stock Market’ and ‘Successful Investment in Malaysia Stock Market: A Practical Lesson’, with 36,000 copies sold.
He is currently the Principal of Global Entrepreneur Xchange (GEX), playing a pivotal role in mentoring over 115 companies in delivering the most customised solutions in the market and guiding their businesses towards greater success.
In 2022, he was honoured with AFFIN ASPIRA Award at The 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs (The 100 MIYE) that recognises bold, creative and innovative young Malaysian entrepreneurs who set the standards of Malaysia’s enterprising spirit.

David Tan is the Non-Executive Director at GrandPine Capital. He has over 12 years of investment and coaching experience in Malaysia’s stock market, grounded in his model of value and growth investing.
David Tan also serves as a portfolio manager of Phillip Capital Management Sdn Bhd where he manages clients’ equity investment as well as performing investment strategy, analysis and research tasks. Currently, there are 30 market representatives assisting him on fund-raising activities. Notably, David holds a Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence (CMSRL) issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia, underscoring his regulatory compliance and expertise in the field.
He assisted in the operation and development of Guangdong KunChen Investment Co. Ltd. in Guangzhou, China that manages high-net-worth clients‘ investment portfolios in the country’s A-share market.

Alfred Chen is the Chief Coach of GrandPine Capital where has coached more than 30,000 students. He is also an influential investment educator on social media with more than 150,000 followers on his Facebook page and YouTube channel, collectively.
He also authored numerous investment books in Malaysia, drawing from his vast experience in Malaysia’s stock market and in-depth analyses of listed companies in Malaysia and China.
Alfred Chen is frequently invited by tertiary education institutions, investment banks and stock broking firms to speak on stock market and stocks for students and clients.
Since 2009, he has been the key speaker at the Investment Forum jointly organised by Sin Chew Daily, Nanyang Siang Pau, and Oriental Daily. He has made an appearance in many TV shows and was interviewed by numerous media organisations including Astro Awani, Bloomberg TV, CITYPlus FM, and Pocketimes.

Hew Sok Chan (Ms. Hew) is the Research Department Director and Head of Coaching of GrandPine Capital, playing a pivotal role in overseeing the development of new courses, investment software, and improving the overall customer experience.
Ms. Hew came with over a decade of experience in the manufacturing industry, serving a global cigarette brand. Her achievements include successfully leading the development of new products in the Asia-Pacific region, providing printing technical support, and ensuring quality control for designated suppliers.
In the Malaysian stock market, Ms. Hew has more than five years of experience in value investing. Renowned as the “Queen of Fact Finding,” her collective unique strength in data collection and information organisation enables her to consistently achieve double-digit annual returns over the years, outperforming FBMKLCI.
Ms. Hew is also instrumental in conceptualising and executing the GrandPine Business Value Exchange (BVE) platform. Additionally, she successfully led the early-stage development and transformation of the Value Farm App, reflecting her commitment to innovation and growth.

Eason also served as the Coach of GrandPine, covering intensive courses between 2016 and 2018.
Under his leadership, GrandPine consistently achieved annual double-digit growth, showcasing his strategic prowess. His strategic leadership was instrumental in driving the company’s expansion in market share, its size and workforce.
Eason transformed Grandpine into a corporate entity, refining its operations and cultivating a professional culture for enhanced efficiency. He champions a culture of ’empowering a million families with value investing,’ emphasizing that stock investment is accessible for everyone, not just professionals.

As the CFO of GrandPine Capital, Jia Rong oversees the corporate and strategic finance, talent management, and business operation support of the company. Prior to GrandPine, Jia Rong spent half a decade in financial planning & analysis with Huawei Saudi Arabia. With experience working for SME and MNC as well as exposure to the capital market, Jia Rong is a finance professional uniquely positioned to drive SME growth through strategic finance management and capital investment.
His analytical acumen allows him to possess a keen eye for dissecting complex financial data and market trends, identifying potential areas for financial improvement, assessing risk and identifying opportunities for GrandPine Capital.
Jia Rong also takes the lead in spearheading financial strategies to drive GrandPine’s business strategy, finance management and capital investment. He also plays a pivotal role in identifying and building fruitful relationships with partners, investors and potential investors for business growth.

Toh Hoon Ling (Mr. Toh) is the Chief Technology Officer of GrandPine Capital. He oversees the overall software development and steering the technological direction of the company.
Under his leadership, the ValueFarm mobile app, the Grandpine’s e-learning web portal and Algo box, an investment analytic software were developed.
Prior to joining GPC, Mr. Toh was the Technical Director of N2N Connect Bhd where he was the key player in the development of a trading platform for AmSecurities and CGS-CIMB Investment Bank, showcasing his proficiency in creating secure and efficient trading solutions.
